Kontron, a leading global provider of IoT / Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), is pleased to introduce a new mini DIN Rail box PC, named KBox P-200 Series, powered by Intel® Atom® E3900 Series and Celeron® / Pentium® N-Series processors, for using as an entry-level controller / recorder platform installed inside a machine, a cabinet or a separate cubicle where DIN rails are available.

Small Footprint
First of all, DIN rail mount itself is a space-saving solution that reduces the occupied footprint and frees up space in the cabinet for other equipments. Still, KBox P-200 Series shrinks its size to the smallest possible, around 0.8 liters, by means of every feasible design, including ultra small Pico-ITX mainboard, compact I/O configuration and smaller next-generation M.2 expansion card. It can accommodate itself to almost any cabinet, even a small one installed in edge for data acquisition and simple pre-processing.

Better Edge Computing Capability & Flexible Networking Options
Powered by Intel® Atom® E3900 Series, Celeron® N3550 and Pentium® N4200 processors, KBox P-200 Series delivers 30% better processing performance for real-time computing in comparison to counterparts with previous generation platform. It is equipped with two GbE LAN ports and an M.2 Key A socket for Wi-Fi / Bluetooth communication expansion, providing flexible networking options to meet different network environments.
