Kontron KBox C-104-TGL family is based on the 11th generation Intel® Core™ or Intel® Xeon® W processors, improves determinism in Industry 4.0 environments with integrated TSN and Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (Intel® TCC) functionality, and enables various real-time applications. The CPUs used have up to eight processing cores and are especially suited for demanding edge workloads and high-end applications with high bandwidth.

All systems of the KBox C-104-TGL family are specially designed for use in control cabinets in the automation environment. By means of the optional NVRAM module as well as the integration of fieldbus extensions, it can also be used as a soft PLC platform. The four 2.5GbE interfaces with TSN functionality can also support time-critical, control-relevant tasks and thus also meet future real-time requirements in the smart factory.
