Higher Performance, More Intelligence & Lower Power
Driven by low-power Intel® Atom® x7000E Series, Intel® Core™ i3 N-Series, Intel® N-Series (codenamed Alder Lake N) and Intel® Atom® x7000RE Series (codenamed Amston Lake) processors with integrated Intel® UHD Graphics (Gen12) and AI acceleration features, 3.5"-SBC-AML/ADN outputs excellent 4K graphics quality and 60 fps frame rates via two external DisplayPort connectors, a DisplayPort over USB-C connector and an internal eDP / LVDS Combo interface. With up to 32 graphics execution units and integrated AI acceleration features, the board enables multiple AI inference workloads concurrently and delivers faster AI performance. What's more, all features mentioned above are enabled within a low-power budget of 6 W ~ 15 W processor TDP.

Low Latency & Optimized Bandwidth Utilization
3.5"-SBC-AML/I supports two in-band ECC-enabled DDR5 SO-DIMMM memory modules with a high frequency of up to 4800 MHz, two high-bandwidth 2.5 GbE LAN ports and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors in Type A and Type C formats respectively at SuperSpeed+ data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps, achieving ultra-low latency within the system and between the system and peripheral devices. In addition, it supports Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) technology as well as Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) protocol and can bring real-time responsiveness with an accuracy of up to 1 microsecond within the system and between systems over Ethernet.

Greater I/O & Functionality Expansion
Distinguishing itself from competitions available in the market, 3.5"-SBC-AML/ADN is equipped with a board-to-board connector and allows system developers to stack a daughter board on it for the expansion of additional I/O ports or functions. Kontron offers a rich array of applicable off-the-shelf daughter boards, namely 3.5"-eIO Series, to help developers speed up the time from design to market launch and reduce their development costs. In addition, it reserves three M.2 expansion slots with Key B, Key E and Key M physical interface forms respectively for SSD, WLAN, Bluetooth, WWAN and other possible expansion.

More Rugged & Securer against Application Conditions & Cyber Attacks
Besides the commercial-grade variants, 3.5"-SBC-AML/ADN is available with industrial grade in terms of processor type and operating temperature range of -40 °C ~ 85 °C. It can operate over a wide input voltage range from DC 9 V to 36 V as well. A discrete TPM 2.0 security chip is integrated on the board. Those features strengthen the resistance against environmental / application-specific disturbances and cyber attacks that the system may encounter.
