2.5"-SBC-AML/ADN is driven by commercial-grade Intel® Atom® x7000E Series, Intel® Core™ i3 N-Series, Intel® N-Series (codenamed Alder Lake N) processors and industrial-grade Intel® Atom® x7000RE Series (codenamed Amston Lake) processors. To better unleash the features of the processors, it is offered with commercial-grade operating temperature range of 0 °C ~ 60 °C and industrial-grade range of -40 °C ~ 85 °C respectively as well to enable more application possibilities.

More Performance Efficient & More Intelligent within a Smaller Footprint

In stark contrast to its small Pico-ITX form factor of slightly larger than a credit card, 2.5"-SBC-AML/ADN unleashes incredible power in terms of graphics and media processing. Three 4K displays running at 60 frames per second can be connected via an internal eDP interface and two external connectors, DisplayPort and DisplayPort over USB-C respectively. There are up to 32 execution units in the iGPU enabling multiple AI inference workloads concurrently. Combining another AI acceleration feature, Intel® Deep Learning Boost, the SBC can deliver faster AI inference performance. What's more, all features mentioned above are enabled within a low power budget of 6 W ~ 15 W processor TDP.

Low Latency & Optimized Bandwidth Utilization

2.5"-SBC-AML/ADN is outfitted with several new-generation devices and interfaces, such as cutting-edge in-band ECC-enabled LPDDR5 soldered SDRAM with a high frequency of up to 4800 MHz, two higher-bandwidth 2.5 GbE LAN ports, and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors in Type A and Type C formats respectively at SuperSpeed+ data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps. All of the features above can achieve ultra-low latency within the systems and between the system and peripheral devices. In addition, partial variants support Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) technology as well as Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) protocol and can bring real-time responsiveness with an accuracy of up to 1 microsecond within the system and between systems over Ethernet.

More Rugged & Securer against Application Conditions & Cyber Attacks

Besides the industrial-grade processors, industrial-grade operating temperature range and soldered LPDDR5 memory mentioned above, 2.5"-SBC-AML/ADN has more rugged features to resist environmental and application-specific disturbances. The SBC comes with soldered eMMC storage as well. Combing the soldered memory, it has intrinsic resistance to the environments that are subject to shock and vibration. Also, it can operate over a wide input voltage range from DC 9 V to 20 V to accommodate to unstable power supply / random power surge or to support various voltage requirements in different applications. A discrete TPM 2.0 security chip is integrated on the board, providing a securer hardware-based approach to manage user authentication, network access and data protection compared to the firmware TPM.

Maximum Connectivity & Expandability within a Limited Form Factor

Despite its small footprint, 2.5"-SBC-AML/ADN doesn't skimp on connectivity and expandability options. Besides the general display, LAN and USB ports, the SBC reserves wiring interface options via internal headers to provide two COM ports and eight digital I/O channels for industrial sensing and controlling. Moreover, there are two M.2 expansion slots on the SBC with Key B and Key E physical interface forms respectively, allowing Wi-Fi and WWAN (4G or 5G) connection for flexible network integration, additional SSD storage capacity for enhancing system reliability and versability, or other possible function expansions.
